Purpose and Scope: Works directly for the Sales and Marketing Manager. Supports all Account Managers/Sales Representatives and the President. Receives minimal instruction on priorities, procedures, and systems. Responsibilities: • Prepare cost estimates and quotations. • Prepare work to be estimated by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents • Works with sales team to prepare estimates, quotations and bid documents for clients. • Maintain records of estimated and actual costs • Recommend ways to reduce costs • Collect and maintain sales performance records and other sales related correspondence. • Maintain electronic and hard-copy database of proposals, quotations, reports, etc. • Make customer follow up phone calls per direction. • Arrange set-up of equipment for presentations and web presentations and training programs. • Organize and prioritize workflow and meet deadlines. • Perform other tasks, duties, or functions related to sales and marketing Qualifications: • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineer, Marketing, Business or related field • With at least 1year work experience as a Cost Estimator • Knowledgeable to take off Bill of Materials • Effective oral and written communication skill • Computer literate • Ability to read and interpret blueprints • Good project management skills • Ability to travel
